How to setup MetaMask
If you are interested in DeFi farming, it is inevitable to not have a Wallet like MetaMask in your browser.
MetaMask will connect you with the Decentralized Application from your browser (which we recommend using Google Chrome here). It will allow you to do transactions or play blockchain-enabled games without any middleman.
What is MetaMask?
MetaMask is an open-source Ethereum wallet that is compatible with any token on the Ethereum network (ERC-20 or Non-fungible token)
MetaMask is super interesting in a way that it could easily be connected to various decentralized app seamlessly. For example, with your general crypto-wallet, you will have to copy and paste your address for each transaction but with MetaMask you can do all the transactions with a “Ping” from that website to the MetaMask extension for you to accept or deny.
In short, Metamask is your Crypto-Wallet that could execute a smart contract for your usage with the decentralized app directly.
Installing MetaMask
1.Download it from here https://metamask.io/
2. Install the MetaMask — Chrome extension
3. Create an Account or Import with seed phrase (if you already have one)
the next step is very important — “The Seed Phrase” is something you should WRITE IT DOWN SOMEWHERE (don’t store it digitally)
If you lose this Seed Phrase = lose your crypto-asset
someone else gets this Seed Phrase = lose your crypto-asset
After you write it down, MetaMask will ask you to verify again filling the Seed Phrase in order.
4. and Tada! you’ve got your own Crypto-Wallet ready to use.
Connecting to Decentralized App
Once you have your MetaMask installed, now let us try to connect your wallet to “PancakeSwap” by going to https://pancakeswap.finance/ and click “Connect” on the top right corner.
choose “Metamask” and now you are connected! (if your browser plugin is now activated)

Add funds to your MetaMask’s Wallet address
1.simply click the address to copy the address
2. on Binance (recommended for you to have an account here)
3. Go to “Withdraw” Crypto and choose the coin to be transfer to your MetaMask by inserting Address you’ve got from MetaMask and choose the network
Be careful to choose the right network you are operating on! or your asset might be lost forever!
